Goa Unfiltered: Behind the Scenes of Tourism’s Hidden Impact

IMPACT  OF TOURISM IN GOA 

 Hey everyone!

Last week was epic! Me, three buddies, a cameraman, an interviewer, and yours truly headed to Baga Beach for a project that became so much more than work. Let me take you behind the scenes!



From the second we stepped onto the sand, the vibe was on point – crashing waves, salty air, a buzzing crowd. I started my intro while our cameraman worked his magic, capturing those postcard-perfect beach shots that scream GOA.



First up, we headed to the lifeguards. Let me tell you, these guys were cool yet super dedicated. One of them opened up about their challenges, like managing tourist safety during peak seasons. Standing at their lookout tower with the ocean stretching endlessly ahead, it felt like a scene out of a movie.  



Next, we tried our luck at the shacks. While the first two owners were camera shy, we struck gold with a super-friendly shack owner. He gave us the lowdown on how tourism has evolved—bringing both opportunities and struggles. His stories of the seasonal hustle really hit home and showed us the other side of beach life.  

Of course, we also captured the happy chaos of Baga: kids playing, families relaxing, and adrenaline junkies tearing it up on jet skis. The beach was alive, and we made sure to soak it all in.  


And then? We ditched the plan for a little fun. Cue splashing in the waves, goofy photo ops, and non-stop laughter. By sunset, we were exhausted, sandy, and starving, so we wrapped up the day with some classic Goan cuisine – because nothing beats seafood after a beach day!  





This wasn’t just work; it was a reminder of why we love creating stories. Stay tuned for the video – you’re going to love it!
